NIRvana Sciences is seeking to hire a polymer chemist with a PhD immediately.

Job Description:

• Analyze project technical needs, evaluate polymeric chemistry options, and make associated recommendations
• Perform syntheses, purification, and characterization of polymeric materials
• Maintain laboratory notebooks and records suitable for publications, intellectual property protection, Perform purification and characterization of compounds using chromatography, NMR, mass spectrometry, HPLC, UV-VIS spectroscopy, fluorescence spectroscopy, and related techniques
• Maintain laboratory notebooks and records suitable for publications, intellectual property protection, and regulatory requirements

Job Requirements:

• Chemistry PhD with direct experience in polymer chemistry
• 2+ years of post-doc experience is helpful, but not a requirement
• Experience in handling air-sensitive reagents and catalysts helpful
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
